Ribbon Turquoise Turtle Ring

172.00

Turtles have been major influences in mythology and origin stories for hundreds of years. They are one of the oldest symbols to represent the Earth. One of my favourite origin stories comes from the Seneca Haudenosaunee (Iroquois). When Mother Sky fell, the great Turtle rose from the waters to break her fall.

This Turtle ring features a natural ribbon turquoise from the Turquoise King mine. Ribbon turquoise is most often from Royston, so finding any from this mine is rare. This stone is set in a gold fill bezel. The silver has been patina darkened and sanded in places for maximum contrast. Perfect for a totem or talisman piece, and all turtle lovers. This design is Navajo inspired.

Measurements:

This ring will fit a US size 6.25 and cannot be resized. Turtle is roughly 1.5-1.75" tall. Ring band is 1/2" wide.

As always comes sweetly packaged in a jewelry box ready for gift giving.
