Odin's Raven Muninn Viking Bangle Bracelet

Odin's Raven Muninn Viking Bangle Bracelet

This sterling silver bangle bracelet features one of Odin's Ravens, Muninn, from Old Norse Viking mythology...

Muninn is hand sawed from sterling silver and features a 6mm faceted black spinel gemstone within it's wings. Resting on a sterling half round bangle, it's namesake is stamped on the reverse side. The bracelet and bird have been patina darkened and sanded for contrast.

The bird measures roughly 1 3/4" across. Please select a size at check out as these are MADE TO ORDER, and allow 2 weeks for production time. Each is hand sawed without a template so the slightest of variations may occur.

XS - 2 1/4" inner diameter
S/M - 2 1/2" inner diameter
L/XL- 2 7/8" inner diameter

In Old Norse mythology, the god Odin has two ravens that fly around Midgard (the world of Man) and listen for information. They then sit on his shoulders at the end of the day for a debriefing. One bird is called Huginn, and represents “Thought”. The other is called Munnin, for “Memory”.

As always comes sweetly packaged in a jewelry box ready for gifting.
