These earrings feature natural marcasite suspended in clear quartz and watermelon tourmalines. Marcasite is sometimes called “white iron pyrite” and was used in antique and vintage jewelry. It’s rare to find it in quartz, especially higher grade clear quartz. All of the stones are set in fine silver and backed in sterling. The silver has been patina darkened and polished for contrast. Earrings measure a little over 1” tall in total. These are great statement earrings and will beam in direct sunlight.
