Turtles have been major influences in mythology and origin stories for hundreds of years. They are one of the oldest symbols to represent the Earth. One of my favourite origin stories comes from the Seneca Haudenosaunee (Iroquois). When Mother Sky fell, the great Turtle rose from the waters to break her fall. 

These turtle posts are hand forged out of sterling silver, cast in either sterling or bronze, then uniquely stamped with eyes and other details. It gives off an antiqued Victorian feel, and is Navajo inspired. All of the metal has been patina darkened and sanded for a rustic finish. These are MADE TO ORDER. Production time is 1-2 weeks before shipping in your direction.

Turtles are roughly 3/4” tall. Choose either bronze or sterling at checkout.

As always comes sweetly packaged on a jewelry card in a muslin bag for gifting.
