Rare Garden Turquoise Turtle Cuff

270.00

Turtles have been major influences in mythology and origin stories for hundreds of years. They are one of the oldest symbols to represent the Earth. One of my favourite origin stories comes from the Seneca Haudenosaunee (Iroquois). When Mother Sky fell, the great Turtle rose from the waters to break her fall.

This turtle cuff is all hand forged out of sterling silver with detailed stamping and design work. It gives off an antiqued Victorian feel, and is Navajo inspired. All of the silver has been patina darkened and sanded for a rustic finish. The center features a high grade webbed natural old stock turquoise from the collectible Damele mine.

Measurements:
XS wrist, 4.75" inside circumference of the cuff plus a 1 1/8" gap for application. Turtle is roughly 2.25" tall.

As always comes sweetly packaged in a jewelry box ready for gifting.
